jMarie, born, Jaymee Marie Rodriguez, is a singer and songwriter from Puerto Rico.
jMarie grew up in Jonesboro,Georgia and was raised in a musical family. This help shape her talents in singing and dancing. In high school she started off singing solos in chorus concerts. Eventually at the age of 16 she entered a talent show and won the appreciation of her school. After graduation, she went on to pursue her music career. This allowed her the honor of singing the National Anthem for major league baseball games, as well as local college Basketball games. Soon after she began to polish her talent for songwriting and began getting familiar with the recording studio.
She has worked the stage with Grammy award winning artist Peabo Bryson, Regina Bell, and Iggy Azalea. She has also referenced vocal work for Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Hilary Duff, Mya, and One Republic.
jMarie was also the featured female backing vocalist for Cirque du Soleil The Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour. She is currently wrapping up her first album set to be released later this year.
